Stay Charge keeps the trailer battery charged from the tow vehicle so the hydraulic jacks have power on arrival. This version is the tow vehicle harness with a quick connect jumper cable harness, and the jumper cables let you jump start any 12 volt battery operated unit, a car, a trailer, or anything else running on 12 volts.

Which kit to order
Part 8427 is this one, the tow vehicle harness with the quick connect jumper cable harness. Part 8400 is the harness for both truck and trailer, with a 25 ft truck harness and a 16 ft trailer harness. Order 8427 if you want the jumper cable capability.
Why battery condition matters on a hydraulic system
EQ Systems hydraulic pumps are not light loads: EQ Systems recommends load testing the battery, which should deliver a minimum of 150 amperes at a minimum of 10.5 VDC for at least 30 seconds, with the terminals kept tight and free of corrosion.
